The Bio-Ken “Snake Spotting Day Safari”

Most people are scared of snakes and would rather not encounter one while on holiday. There are, however, a very large number of people who are fascinated by these mysterious creatures. You will be very lucky if you see a snake whilst on the Kenya coast, yet Watamu is one of the richest reptile fauna areas in the whole of East Africa.

Many tourists and residents have requested to see some of these fascinating reptiles in their natural habitat. Kenya Snake Safaris under the umbrella of Bio-Ken Snake Farm, is now running a reptile-spotting day Safari. For those of you visiting the north Kenyan coast, with a wilder sense of adventure and who would like to get away from the beach and poolside for a day to do something interesting and fun then this is the adventure for you. The trip is safe & professionally guided and supports the local community as well as furthering the conservation of snakes in the area.
