Day 2

Early wake up to head out on foot along the river to try and catch some of those early sunbathing reptiles. Return to the camp for brunch before heading out in the Land cruiser to the hotter plains. Return to the camp for lunch and a siesta. Head out in the Land cruiser and drive up to explore the damns and surrounding areas. As the sun goes down we’ll make our way to a favorite sundowner spot for a cold drink and, if we’re lucky, a beautiful sunset! Head back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Snake Safari - Galana River

This video shows the Bio-Ken Team out in the bush on a Snake Safari back in 2007.

Based at Kulala Camp on the Galana River in the Tsavo eco-system, we were able to search a variety of habitats.

A healthy African Rock Python, a performing juvenile Large Brown Spitting Cobra, and a Puff-Adder star in this YouTube clip.
